Additional Job Profile

Chip Process Engineering Manager:

• Establish a process that can perform stable and highly efficient chip processing of semiconductor optical device wafers.
• Educate subordinates to make the team a logical engineering team and show the correct direction for work promotion (DOE, Process-Window)
• Manage the improvement of existing equipment (scribe, cleave, D/B, W/B, BurnIn) and the introduction of new equipment to improve mass production capacity.
• Implement yield improvement activities from manufacturing line data and also manage the improvement of production cycle time.
• Propose and manage the implementation of manufacturing line reforms for huge production.

Responsibilities:

• Establish a highly efficient and stable chip processing process.
• Propose and implement improvements to existing equipment and the introduction of new equipment to ensure manufacturing line capacity that meets customer demand.
• Manage measures to reduce machine operating time, yield, and improve operations.
• Design lean manufacturing lines.

Desired Background:

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience or equivalent related technical field.

Expected Skill:

• Knowledge of scribe, cleave, die bonding/wire bonding/optical alignment machines.
• Knowledge of optical device performance evaluation and reliability
• Has relevant knowledge of semiconductor optical device manufacturing.
• Experience in semiconductor device production technology, manufacturing or development departments would be a plus.
• Actively and smoothly communicate with related departments.
• Ability to communicate by email and create documents in English.
