Reporting to the Global Marketing Leader, Systems & Filtration, the China Marketing Manager translates global segment strategy into region-specific growth priorities across Greater China. This role partners closely with Sales, Technology, Marketing Communications, and Global Segment Marketing teams to drive market activation, customer engagement, and profitable growth for Systems & Filtration technologies.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Translate global segment strategies into regional priorities by aligning target applications, customer segments, competitive positioning, regulatory considerations, and channel strategies.
- Develop regional strategy plans that identify market opportunities, business priorities, and actions needed to accelerate growth.
- Lead execution of regional growth initiatives, including customer targeting, demand-generation activities, product launches, channel programs, and performance tracking.
- Build and maintain regional customer and value-chain intelligence, identifying priority customers, prospects, OEMs, EPCs, influencers, and key decision-makers.
- Partner with commercial teams to identify growth opportunities, address performance gaps, and increase market share through focused action plans and differentiated value propositions.
- Improve channel effectiveness through distributor prioritization, go-to-market alignment, portfolio focus, and execution reviews.
- Drive local marketing activation by developing campaign briefs, localized messaging, activation plans, and performance feedback processes.
- Support innovation and product launch activities by aligning customers, channel partners, and sales teams around value propositions and application opportunities.
- Lead trade show strategy and execution, ensuring clear objectives, measurable outcomes, and post-event learnings.
- Gather and communicate customer, market, and competitive insights to inform business strategy, innovation priorities, and commercial decision-making.
- Monitor competitive activity, market dynamics, pricing trends, and emerging opportunities to support sustainable growth.
What Helps You Succeed in This Role
Required
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Strong business and financial acumen with the ability to analyze market, customer, channel, and pipeline data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Strategic marketing experience in areas such as segmentation, targeting, value proposition development, market activation, or growth planning.
- Strong project management, organizational, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to influence stakeholders and communicate complex information clearly.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Ability to travel up to 40%.
Preferred
- MBA or other advanced business qualifications.
- Experience in strategic marketing, market development, product management, or related commercial roles.
- Experience working across multicultural and multi-regional teams.
- Experience in water treatment, membrane technologies, filtration, desalination, wastewater treatment, or industrial and municipal water markets.
