We are looking for an energetic self-starter to join our team as Chief of Staff. This person will serve as a strategic partner to our investment partners, helping to scale the firm's operations, relationships, and brand. You will play a role in driving LP engagement, building our community, leveraging our brand, and ensuring the firm runs with precision and purpose. Key Responsibilities
Act as a strategic thought partner and force multiplier to our investment and technical teams, helping prioritize and execute on the firm's most important initiatives
Assist in building and managing the firm’s LP pipeline — from sourcing and research to relationship development and conversion
Plan and host events that strengthen Core's brand and community, ranging from intimate founder dinners and LP roundtables to larger industry gatherings and meetups
Strengthen and expand Core's network by building relationships with industry insiders, founders, co-investors, and institutional allocators at conferences and curated events
Manage cross-functional projects and operational workflows across the firm, ensuring alignment, accountability, and follow-through
Support the investment team by contributing to portfolio monitoring as needed
Drive internal process improvements and help incorporate AI into firm operations and decision-making workflows, alongside our technical team
Communicate on behalf of the firm with clarity and professionalism across investor updates, external correspondence, and presentations
Ideal Qualifications
1-3 years of experience in venture capital, management consulting, or at a venture-backed startup. We care more about slope and hustle than pedigree.
Track record of organizing and hosting high-quality events, from small curated gatherings to larger community meetups, that attract and engage top founders and investors
A natural connector who can represent Core externally and be a trusted, discreet partner internally
Proven self-starter with a highly motivated personality, able to thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities with minimal oversight
Ability to leverage AI and modern tools to innovate on internal workflows
Excellent communicator with the ability to write, speak, and present with clarity and impact across diverse audiences — from founders to institutional investors
Detail-oriented with a high bar for quality and precision in all work
