You will play a role in driving LP engagement, building our community, leveraging our brand, and ensuring the firm runs with precision and purpose. This is an exceptional opportunity to sit at the intersection of strategy and execution, with deep exposure to every facet of venture capital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic thought partner and force multiplier to our investment and technical teams, helping prioritize and execute on the firm's most important initiatives

  • Assist in building and managing the firm’s LP pipeline — from sourcing and research to relationship development and conversion

  • Plan and host events that strengthen Core's brand and community, ranging from intimate founder dinners and LP roundtables to larger industry gatherings and meetups

  • Strengthen and expand Core's network by building relationships with industry insiders, founders, co-investors, and institutional allocators at conferences and curated events

  • Manage cross-functional projects and operational workflows across the firm, ensuring alignment, accountability, and follow-through

  • Support the investment team by contributing to portfolio monitoring as needed

  • Drive internal process improvements and help incorporate AI into firm operations and decision-making workflows, alongside our technical team

  • Communicate on behalf of the firm with clarity and professionalism across investor updates, external correspondence, and presentations

Ideal Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in venture capital, management consulting, or at a venture-backed startup. We care more about slope and hustle than pedigree.

  • Track record of organizing and hosting high-quality events, from small curated gatherings to larger community meetups, that attract and engage top founders and investors

  • A natural connector who can represent Core externally and be a trusted, discreet partner internally

  • Proven self-starter with a highly motivated personality, able to thrive in an unstructured, fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities with minimal oversight

  • Ability to leverage AI and modern tools to innovate on internal workflows

  • Excellent communicator with the ability to write, speak, and present with clarity and impact across diverse audiences — from founders to institutional investors

  • Detail-oriented with a high bar for quality and precision in all work
