Chief of Staff

Hydra is hiring a founding Chief of Staff to work directly with the founder and help scale the company with clarity and focus. This is a highly trusted role designed to increase the founder’s leverage and ensure the most important priorities move forward.

You will sit at the center of the business. You’ll help set priorities, drive execution, and act as a connective tissue across operations, finance, and growth.

What you’ll do

Execution & coordination

• Drive cross-functional projects from start to finish
  
   
• Coordinate between operations, marketing, finance, and partners
  
   
• Track goals, deadlines, and ownership
  
   
• Create clarity where things are messy or moving fast
  
   

Operations & finance

• Oversee core operating workflows
  
   
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, and operational health
  
   
• Support planning, forecasting, and fundraising efforts
  
   
• Help build the systems that support scale
  
   

Strategic initiatives

• Support partnerships, new channels, and special projects
  
   
• Research and evaluate opportunities
  
   
• Help translate strategy into clear action plans
  
   

Founder support

• Act as a thought partner and sounding board to the founder
  
   
• Help set weekly, monthly, and quarterly priorities
  
   
• Ensure follow-through on key initiatives
  
   
• Prepare the founder for meetings, decisions, and milestones
