Chief of Staff

We’re a small, fast-moving team based in Palo Alto. We value speed, creativity, and collaboration. Every team member plays a crucial role in helping Pika scale from a viral launch to a world-changing platform for creativity.

We’re looking for a Chief of Staff focused on operations. You’ll work closely with our CEO and leadership team to ensure everything behind the scenes — recruiting, culture, logistics, and operations — runs with precision and care.

• Manage the CEO’s calendar, priorities, and meeting flow to maximize impact.

• Create and maintain internal docs, dashboards, and processes that improve team efficiency.

• Assist with coordination for board meetings, all-hands, and company events.

• Own the recruiting process end-to-end: sourcing, screening, scheduling, and candidate experience.

• Partner with hiring managers to manage pipelines and keep things moving quickly.

• Help onboard new hires and make their first week memorable.

• Oversee office operations (supplies, meals, events, space management).

• Organize in-person events, offsites, and celebrations.

• Find creative ways to make the office fun, welcoming, and inspiring.

• Manage vendor contracts, invoices, and payments.

• Support basic legal and compliance needs (with external counsel).

• Keep records organized and help streamline internal workflows.

• 2–5 years of experience in operations, recruiting, or HR — ideally in a fast-growing tech startup.

• Exceptional organizational and project management skills.

• Excellent communication and follow-through; you make things happen.

• Comfort handling confidential information and high-trust relationships.

• High energy, resourcefulness, and a “no task too small” mindset.

• Based in or near Palo Alto, with ability to come into the office several days a week.
