About the role
As a Chief of Staff for Akilesh Potti, you will have a unique opportunity to strategize, and streamline priorities across a highly heterogeneous company, ensure cross-functional alignment, oversee high-impact strategic projects and help Akilesh lead Ritual through a rapidly evolving and complex landscape.
In your role, you will be a force-multiplier enabling Akilesh to focus on Ritual’s mission while ensuring day-to-day team execution and coordination is seamless.
- Serve as a trusted extension of Akilesh with internal and external stakeholders
- Prepare presentations, analysis, and other material needed for leadership meetings both internal and external
- Act as first-line of defense for leadership in resolving problems, driving priorities, handling operational tasks, and supporting the team
- Partner cross-functionally to drive strategic initiatives and projects while ensuring alignment with company goals
- Research and present on various topics as needed and maintain company level KPIs and metrics
- Analyze and interpret data for Akilesh to inform strategic direction and company initiatives
- Manage special projects from scoping through completion for Akilesh
- Liaise with operations and internal assistants to ensure leadership priorities align with organizational goals and other team priorities
About you
- 1-2 years of experience in leadership, project management, research, business operations, engineering, and other highly strategic and operational roles within a rapidly growing company
- Ability to act quickly under high pressure scenarios and context switch at a high frequency
- Familiarity with AI and blockchain technologies, or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technical domains
- Familiarity with legal, operations, and technical considerations in open-source ecosystems
- Experience working with external C-suite across multiple functions (e.g. GTM, Finance, Ops, Engineering)
- Familiarity or willingness to be familiar with a cross-disciplinary infrastructure stack
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills to steer or serve as an effective facilitator in complex and confidential projects across engineering, growth, and additional functions
- A high level of end-to-end ownership and self-direction, with excellent communication skills
- Hungry, high-energy and ability to work within and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience operating autonomously and leading large-scale efforts across multiple teams and functions, with stakeholders in different disciplines across time zones
