Overview
More than half of IVF patients quit treatment before reaching their goals, and the reason they cite most often is lack of success. Even with healthy, genetically normal embryos, many transfers fail, and until now there has been no scientifically robust way to measure whether the endometrium is the problem.
Simbryo Technologies is accelerating paths to pregnancy through organoid medicine and AI. Using technology developed at Rice University, we grow a model of a patient's endometrium from her own biopsy and test whether it can support implantation. SIMBRYO/fx is the world's first direct measure of endometrial function.
Our lab is CAP-accredited and CLIA-certified, and the test is in market. Our clinical study ran across four fertility centers: Texas Fertility Center, Aspire HFI, New Hope Fertility, and Reach Fertility. We are backed by TSVC, Metrodora Ventures, and others.

The Role
Simbryo is hiring its first Head of Commercial to own the commercial function end to end: clinic adoption, patient demand, and brand management across both. This is a newly created role reporting directly to the CEO, with a seat on the leadership team of an early-stage biotech startup.
Clinic adoption and patient growth are the core of the role, and they grow together. The test requires an endometrial biopsy, so a reproductive endocrinologist or OB-GYN has to support the order. That makes physician relationships essential. Patients are also burning to know "will it work", and insight into what to expect gives patients the confidence to start treatment and stay in it. You will build both sides at once: the clinic relationships that make ordering possible, and the patient demand that brings the question into the room.
What You'll Do
- Own the clinic pipeline end to end: identify target practices, run the pitch and answer questions bringing in the science team as needed, close the site, support the launch, and manage reorders
- Represent Simbryo at fertility conferences and industry events, from booking meetings in advance through booth staffing, floor pitching, and follow-up
- Update and develop sales and marketing materials, including one-pagers, in-office brochures, co-branded assets for partner sites, emails, landing pages, and ads, leveraging a designer as needed
- Build patient demand across search, social, newsletters, podcasts, and community forums, and design the path from awareness to a patient asking their doctor about Simbryo
- Pitch and place stories in fertility trade press, clinical media, and patient podcasts, and manage announcements of publications and partnerships
- Develop relationships with key opinion leaders, IVF educators, patient advocates, and community voices
- Set up tracking and reporting to determine what is working and guide iteration; Bring a point of view on pricing, packaging, and where to spend next
- Keep Salesforce current so pipeline and outreach are visible across the team
- Keep our language precise, since we operate in a regulated diagnostic category
At six months, the measures of success are clinics activated and Simbryo orders.

- Able to produce. You build a usable first version yourself and know which pieces need a designer and which do not
- A strong writer for both patient and physician audiences; will work with journalists, influencers, and medical opinion leaders
- Strong analytical skills to execute and optimize digital campaigns
- Leverage AI extensively to expand your reach
- Comfortable being measured on sales and growth targets
