Why We Are Hiring for This Role:
The Chief of Staff to the President will serve as a trusted partner and force multiplier to the President, ensuring that his most critical priorities are driven forward with speed and precision. As Foundation scales, this role is essential for supporting the President’s focus on the highest-leverage decisions while ensuring nothing falls through the cracks. You will be the connective tissue across leadership, operations, and strategy; someone who can context-switch fluidly between long-horizon thinking and day-to-day execution. This is a hybrid Chief of Staff and executive support role - the right person understands that at this stage of the company, strategic and operational work sit side by side, and they embrace both.
What You’ll Do:
- Own the President's strategic priorities - track progress, identify blockers, and drive accountability across the organization.
- Prepare the President for key meetings, investor conversations, and external engagements by synthesizing information and developing clear, concise briefing materials.
- Represent the President in internal meetings and cross-functional conversations; act as a proxy when needed and ensure alignment and follow-through on decisions.
- Lead or support high-priority special projects on behalf of the President, including strategic initiatives, partnerships, or internal transformation efforts.
- Draft and review key communications, memos, presentations, and documents on behalf of the President.
- Be the go-to resource for the President's day-to-day technical needs; devices, connectivity, video calls, and whatever comes up.
- Act as a personal extension of the president, handling any task he delegates - professional or personal - with the same urgency and quality, to protect his time and focus.
- Manage information flow into and out of the President's office, ensuring the right people are informed at the right times.
- Be highly responsive; this role requires checking and responding to the President's email early, late, and on weekends.
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and sound judgment.
- Manage the President's time and priorities with a strategic lens — not just scheduling, but ensuring their calendar reflects company priorities.
What Kind of Person are we looking for:
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with a bias toward action and follow-through.
- Outstanding written and verbal communicator; you can distill complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage multiple competing priorities.
- Maintains a positive attitude, even when handling menial tasks.
- Willingness to work long hours, including weekends, and be available with minimal notice when sudden needs arise.
- High EQ with the ability to build trust and credibility across all levels of the organization.
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity and making judgment calls in a fast-moving environment.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and ability to navigate any additional software/web based tool as needed.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive mindset.
- 5+ years of experience in an executive support or Chief of Staff role, with a proven track record of supporting senior leadership teams in fast-paced environments.
- Prior experience supporting a C-suite or founder-level executive is strongly preferred.
Benefits
We provide market standard benefits (health, vision, dental, 401k, etc.). Join us for the culture and the mission, not for the benefits.
