Chief of Staff - Managed Solutions

The Chief of Staff (CoS) is responsible for driving the strategic priorities of their SVP leader by leveraging their understanding of the full cross-functional teams. The CoS helps to ensure the organization stays operationally aligned, focused on the right actions, clear communication, and executes with timeliness and efficiency. The CoS will engage with senior members of the leadership team to help them understand the context and quality requirements of their tasks, effectively scaling the capacity of their SVP leader. Additionally, the CoS will work in collaboration with Chiefs from across the organization to ensure that their SVP is meeting required goals, cadence, and deadlines for HPWS and the Executive leadership teams. While this role is an individual contributor position, it is designed for high performing people managers to fast track (in a 1-year development assignment) their career growth opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop clear understanding of business strategy, direction, priorities, and context to represent the division direction accurately to Senior Leaders
  • Understand scope, timing, ownership, and quality requirements for key priorities to help ensure owners deliver outstanding work
  • Engage with members of the Senior Leadership Team Staff to ensure alignment on top requirements and needs of SVP leader
  • Help Senior Leadership Team Staff deliver and exceed performance expectations by sharing relevant context, insights, and examples
  • Partner with CoS for Business Unit President to ensure SVP is aligned on top requirements and needs of BU President
  • Collaborate with other Chiefs of Staff across the Business Unit and Company to help identify and resolve issues quickly
  • Provide operational leadership and project management for targeted projects led directly by the SVP
  • Learn how to operate as a Senior Leader to increase your own experience and accelerate your growth trajectory

Education & Experience:

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
  • Typically has 10+ years of work experience, preferably in strategy, planning, operations, product management, or a related field.

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Extensive people management experience on complex and critical business issues
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills including negotiation and influence skills
  • Excellent analytical thinking, technical analysis, and data manipulation skills to identify insights
  • Ability to dive deep into the details of a problem to identify root cause and options for resolution
  • Excellent project management skills, including leading large, cross-functional initiatives that impact the entire organization
  • Strong organization skills and ability to manage to aggressive timelines across multiple critical projects
  • Strong leadership skills, including team-building, conflict resolution, and management
  • Ability and interest in working with a global team across time zones both in person and virtually
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and confidence to engage with the most senior leaders in our company
