Executive Operations | Business & Personal Affairs
Location: Calabasas, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time, In-Person
Schedule: Highly Flexible, Including Evenings & Weekends
Compensation: $150,000 - $200,000 per year
About the Opportunity
We are seeking an exceptional Chief of Staff to the Founder to serve as the trusted right hand to Dhar Mann, entrepreneur, creator, and founder of Dhar Mann Studios, one of the world's leading digital entertainment companies.
This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a high-profile entrepreneur overseeing a global entertainment business, multiple ventures, an extensive personal and family office operation, and a demanding schedule of business, public, and personal commitments.
This is not a traditional executive assistant position or a conventional corporate Chief of Staff role. We are looking for someone who combines the strategic thinking of a Chief of Staff, the operational expertise of a Family Office Director, the organizational skills of an exceptional Executive Assistant, and the hands-on mentality of someone who will do whatever it takes to get things done.
One moment you may be coordinating with senior executives on business priorities. The next, you could be overseeing household operations, managing travel logistics, personally driving the founder to a meeting, or navigating an unexpected situation at a public event.
The ideal candidate is proactive, exceptionally organized, technologically advanced, discreet, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment where no two days are alike.
Above all, we're looking for someone who can anticipate needs, solve problems independently, and create more time for the founder to focus on family, creativity, and growing the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Leadership & Business Operations
- Serve as the founder's primary liaison across professional and personal responsibilities.
- Act as an intermediary between the founder and direct reports, senior executives, department heads, and external partners.
- Help manage competing priorities, streamline communications, and ensure important matters receive timely attention.
- Attend selected meetings, capture action items, communicate decisions, and drive accountability across teams.
- Track key projects, deadlines, and deliverables, ensuring commitments are followed through to completion.
- Prepare executive briefings, summaries, presentations, and decision-making materials.
- Help evaluate incoming opportunities, requests, and commitments, making recommendations on what deserves the founder's attention.
- Identify inefficiencies, implement better workflows, and continuously improve how the founder's professional and personal operations function.
2. Personal Affairs & Family Office Operations
- Oversee and coordinate the founder's personal operations, including household management, family logistics, appointments, purchases, and lifestyle needs.
- Coordinate with existing personal staff, estate managers, facilities teams, security, drivers, and outside vendors.
- Support the oversight of multiple properties, including maintenance, contractors, household projects, inventory, and vendor relationships.
- Establish clear systems, standards, accountability, and reporting across personal operations.
- Coordinate with financial, legal, insurance, and other professional advisors as needed.
- Assist with family-related schedules, events, travel, and important commitments while maintaining the highest standards of privacy and discretion.
- Ensure that personal and household needs are proactively addressed without requiring constant involvement from the founder.
3. Direct Founder Support & Transportation
- Work closely alongside the founder throughout the day, providing hands-on support across business and personal commitments.
- Be comfortable personally driving the founder to meetings, appointments, events, airports, and other destinations as needed.
- Coordinate complex domestic and international travel, including private aviation, hotels, ground transportation, and itineraries.
- Accompany the founder to selected meetings, business trips, public appearances, and social events.
- Help manage fan interactions, crowds, and unexpected public attention, ensuring the founder can comfortably and efficiently move between engagements.
- Confidently and respectfully establish boundaries, create space, redirect individuals, and coordinate with professional security when necessary.
- Handle last-minute changes, urgent errands, and time-sensitive requests calmly and efficiently.
- Anticipate logistical challenges and ensure the founder's day runs as smoothly as possible.
4. Technology, AI & Productivity Systems
- Act as a technology-forward operator who continually identifies opportunities to improve efficiency.
- Be exceptionally proficient with computers, mobile devices, productivity software, and modern business applications.
- Demonstrate advanced familiarity with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, project management platforms, scheduling tools, and common communication applications.
- Actively embrace artificial intelligence, including ChatGPT and other emerging AI tools, to automate workflows, accelerate research, manage information, and improve productivity.
- Create automations, systems, dashboards, and processes that reduce repetitive work and unnecessary communication.
- Organize calendars, contacts, documents, projects, communications, and important records into efficient, accessible systems.
- Quickly learn new applications, troubleshoot technology issues, and help the founder stay ahead of useful technological developments.
- Maintain strong cybersecurity awareness and exercise discretion when handling confidential information through AI or other digital tools.
5. Team Coordination & Accountability
- Work closely with the founder's existing personal operations, security, facilities, and administrative teams.
- Coordinate priorities and responsibilities across team members, ensuring clarity, responsiveness, and accountability.
- Serve as an escalation point for matters that can be resolved without involving the founder.
- Follow up persistently and professionally to ensure that assignments are completed to a high standard.
- Identify staffing gaps, process weaknesses, and opportunities to improve team performance.
- Build effective relationships with everyone from household employees and vendors to senior executives and high-profile partners.
- Help maintain a professional, organized, efficient, and service-oriented operating environment.
6. Special Projects & Problem Solving
- Lead special projects across both business and personal affairs, from events and property improvements to new operational initiatives.
- Research options, negotiate with vendors, assess tradeoffs, and present concise recommendations.
- Take ownership of unfamiliar challenges and find creative solutions with minimal supervision.
- Manage sensitive, confidential, and time-critical situations with excellent judgment.
- Stay several steps ahead, anticipating potential issues before they become problems.

- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and exercise exceptional discretion.
The Ideal Candidate
We're looking for someone with an uncommon combination of intelligence, judgment, confidence, humility, and a genuine passion for supporting a fast-moving entrepreneur.
You are proactive, not reactive. You anticipate needs, identify potential problems, and take action before being asked.
You take complete ownership. When something is assigned to you, there's no need for repeated follow-up. You manage it from start to finish.
You are extremely tech-savvy. You enjoy learning new tools, experimenting with AI, implementing automations, and finding smarter ways to accomplish everyday tasks.
You are confident but not egotistical. You can professionally direct senior staff, communicate with prominent business leaders, and establish boundaries with strangers, while also being perfectly comfortable driving, running an errand, or handling a small personal detail.
You remain calm under pressure. Whether dealing with a last-minute travel change, a household emergency, a demanding executive, or a crowd of enthusiastic fans, you handle situations with composure and sound judgment.
You have exceptional discretion. You understand that working closely with a public figure requires confidentiality, professionalism, loyalty, and appropriate personal boundaries.
You are highly adaptable. Your responsibilities may change throughout the day, and you enjoy the variety rather than needing a rigid routine.
You are service-oriented. You take pride in making other people's lives run smoothly and in accomplishing things behind the scenes without needing recognition.
You are an excellent communicator. You're personable, clear, direct, and capable of navigating relationships with people at every level.
You have excellent judgment. You know when to make a decision independently, when to consult others, and when something truly requires the founder's attention.
What Success Looks Like
In the first 30 days: You have developed a deep understanding of the founder's schedule, preferences, personal and professional priorities, key relationships, and existing operations.
Within 60 days: You are independently coordinating staff, managing daily logistics, tracking important business priorities, and introducing improvements to existing systems.
Within 90 days: You have become an indispensable part of the founder's daily operations, proactively resolving issues, reducing unnecessary interruptions, and ensuring major responsibilities are consistently handled.
Long term: The founder can confidently delegate almost any operational challenge to you, knowing it will be handled thoughtfully, efficiently, and with minimal supervision.
The ultimate measure of success is simple: You make the founder's life easier, protect their time, and ensure things get done without requiring constant attention.
Schedule & Working Environment
This is a highly involved, hands-on position that requires significant flexibility and responsiveness.
The founder maintains an active schedule spanning business operations, family commitments, travel, events, and public appearances. As a result, the ideal candidate must be comfortable with irregular hours and availability outside a conventional workweek.
The role supports operations occurring seven days a week. Evening, weekend, holiday, and urgent-response coverage will be required, with appropriate scheduling, rest periods, and compensation consistent with applicable law.
This position is primarily in-person and requires regular proximity to the founder throughout the Los Angeles area, with travel as needed.
Why This Opportunity Is Unique
This is an opportunity to work at the intersection of entertainment, entrepreneurship, technology, philanthropy, and high-level personal operations.
You will gain direct exposure to the inner workings of a globally recognized media business while helping manage the day-to-day priorities of its founder.
You'll be entrusted with meaningful responsibilities, a wide variety of challenges, and the opportunity to implement systems and improvements that have a direct impact.
For someone who thrives on responsibility, variety, problem-solving, and building trusted relationships, this is a rare opportunity to become a truly integral part of a founder's life and operations.
