As our Chief Operating Officer (COO), you'll serve as a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, working alongside the CEO to shape strategy, drive organizational growth, and ensure exceptional experiences for girls, volunteers, caregivers, staff, and community partners across our region.

What You'll Do

As COO, you'll oversee the operational functions that bring our mission to life, including:

  • Community Engagement
  • Programs
  • Outdoor Programs
  • Customer Care

You'll:

  • Partner with the CEO to develop and execute organizational strategy.
  • Lead annual operational planning to support sustainable membership growth and retention.
  • Use market data, demographic trends, and community insights to identify opportunities and guide decision-making.
  • Ensure programs and delivery systems meet the evolving needs of girls, volunteers, caregivers, and communities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing leaders and teams.
  • Direct planning, budgeting, performance management, and organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Establish and strengthen partnerships with community organizations, educational institutions, and stakeholders.
  • Champion innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Advance a culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, accessibility, and belonging through leadership, action, and accountability.
  • Serve as an ambassador for Girl Scouting throughout the community.

Flexibility That Supports Real Life

  • Flexible office hours after 30 days, between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (Operational demands do require the flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and be on call)
  • Half-day Fridays
  • Two remote workdays per week after successful completion of the 180-day introductory period

Salary Range: $110,00 - $120,00 annually

  • Nonprofit experience (valuable but not required).
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call availability as operationally required.
