About the position

Kiddie Academy, a franchisor of educational child care with Academies nationwide and hundreds under development is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief Marketing Officer (“CMO”) to lead our brand across our growing system for both consumer and franchising sides of the business.  The CMO will be responsible for creating and driving systemwide marketing strategy, brand awareness and long-term brand loyalty.

The ideal candidate brings a balance of leadership, performance marketing expertise, and franchise knowledge or experience. 

This role also serves as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.  In this role, the member will be involved in global corporate business matters while having a key role in the ongoing evolution of our brand experience.

This position is based in our Corporate Office located in Abingdon, Maryland.

Your Skills and Experience:

  • Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation skills
  • Budgeting experience
  • Undergraduate degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 10+ years of marketing leadership experience
  • Experience with a franchise or multi-unit business model preferred
  • Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team, manage outside agencies
  • Experience leading strategy and implementation of confluent marketing campaigns
  • Exceptional communication skills and strategic thinking
  • Business management experience
  • Minimal travel required
