Job DescriptionIDS is seeking a Chief Logistician to support logistics operations and Army supply activities. The selected candidate will provide logistics expertise, support property accountability requirements, and utilize Army supply systems to support mission requirements.
Key Duties• Support logistics operations.
• Utilize the Army Supply System in support of mission requirements.
• Use Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A).
• Support activities in accordance with Army supply regulations.
• Support requirements involving DoD Property Book regulations and policies.
Requirements• Secret clearance.
• High school diploma.
• In-depth knowledge of the Army Supply System.
• Two years of experience using Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A).
• Five years of experience in logistics.
• Knowledge of Army supply regulations.
• Knowledge of the accounting policies of the DoD Property Book regulations and policies.
Preferred Qualifications• Certification through the American Society of Transportation and Logistics, or the International Society of Logistics.
• Familiarity with the Defense Property Accountability System.
• Knowledge of a broad range of supply program relationships between technical supply operations and general supply support programs.
