Description
The Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) serves as the senior executive responsible for the strategic leadership, administration, compliance, and continuous improvement of all human resources functions throughout Pueblo Diversified Industries.
The CHRO is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and serves as the principal advisor to the President and CEO on workforce strategy, organizational development, employee relations, compensation, benefits, succession planning, compliance, risk management, and organizational culture. The CHRO is responsible for ensuring that all employment practices are administered in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws while supporting PDI’s mission, strategic objectives, and operational needs. The CHRO serves as PDI’s Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Officer and oversees all employment-related compliance activities, workforce planning initiatives, employee relations matters, and human capital strategies.
Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Administration, Organizational Leadership, or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible human resources leadership experience.
- Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible human resources experience.
- Minimum five (5) years of senior-level human resources leadership experience with responsibility for organizational strategy, compliance, employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, and workforce planning.
- Demonstrated experience administering complex leave programs, workplace accommodations, compliance investigations, and employment law compliance initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience in:
o Employment law compliance
o Employee relations and conflict resolution
o Compensation administration and pay equity analysis
o Benefits administration
o Organizational development
o Policy development and implementation
o Workforce planning and succession planning
o Workplace investigations
o Executive-level advising and leadership
o Human resources strategy development
Preferred Qualifications· Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Leadership, Public Administration, or related field.
· SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or comparable senior-level human resources certification.
· Experience within nonprofit organizations.
· Experience supporting organizations with government contracts.
· Experience with Service Contract Act administration.
· Experience with federal contractor compliance requirements, including OFCCP compliance, affirmative action planning, VETS-4212 reporting, and workforce reporting obligations.
· Experience administering Colorado FAMLI and multi-jurisdictional leave programs.
· Experience supporting organizations with 100 or more employees.
· Demonstrated experience presenting workforce, compliance, compensation, and strategic planning information to executive leadership and Boards of Directors.
