Position Summary: 

The CFO NA is a key member of the NA Executive Leadership Team and serves as the finance leader responsible for the company's financial health, growth, profitability, and long-term value creation. 

The CFO NA will partner closely with the NA CEO, the Group CFO, and other senior business leaders to drive sustainable growth, profitability, cash generation, operational excellence, and informed decision-making. 

This is a highly strategic and commercially oriented leadership role. In addition to providing financial stewardship and ensuring strong governance and controls, the CFO NA will help shape business strategy, allocate resources, improve business performance, and identify the financial and operational levers that can accelerate profitable growth.

The CFO NA will lead the North American finance organization and oversee financial planning and analysis, accounting, treasury, tax, commercial finance, pricing, client and project profitability, business intelligence, financial controls and compliance. The role also has responsibility for the North American procurement function and real estate portfolio.

The successful candidate will combine strong technical finance expertise with commercial judgment, operational engagement, analytical rigor, and the ability to influence senior leaders and drive meaningful change.

What you can expect to be doing: 

Strategic Leadership 

  • Serve as an advisor to the NA CEO and Executive Leadership Team on corporate strategy, growth opportunities, and business performance. 
  • Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with organizational objectives. 
  • Support strategic planning, annual budgeting, and long-range business forecasting processes. 
  • Evaluate market trends, competitive dynamics, and economic conditions to identify risks and opportunities. 

Financial Planning & Analysis 

  • Oversee company-wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes. 
  • Improve revenue forecasting accuracy and drive disciplined financial management across the business. 
  • Provide actionable insights on revenue growth, profitability, utilization, project economics, and margin improvement. 
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) across business units, clients, and product lines. 
  • Drive data-based decision making through robust financial analysis and business intelligence. 

Accounting & Financial Operations 

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards. 
  • Oversee general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, tax, treasury, and financial controls. 
  • Maintain a strong system of internal controls and financial governance. 
  • Lead cash flow management, tax planning and working capital optimization initiatives. 

Commercial Finance & Pricing 

  • Partner with commercial and operational leaders to assess client, project, and service-line profitability. 
  • Develop pricing frameworks and financial models to support business growth. 
  • Evaluate contract structures and commercial terms to maximize profitability while managing risk. 

Risk Management & Compliance 

  • Ensure compliance with all financial, regulatory, tax, audit, and reporting requirements. 
  • Oversee enterprise risk management activities. 
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and tax advisors. 
  • Maintain a strong culture of financial integrity, accountability, governance, and compliance 
     

Finance Transformation, Data & Technology

  • Lead the evolution of the North American finance operating model, improving scalability, efficiency, automation, and business partnering.
  • Strengthen financial and operational data, reporting, analytics, and forecasting to support timely, data-driven decision-making.
  • Leverage technology and AI to enhance finance efficiency, controls, reporting, and decision support.

Procurement & Real Estate

  • Provide strategic oversight of the North American procurement function, optimizing third-party spend, supplier relationships, commercial terms, and purchasing practices.
  • Oversee the North American real estate portfolio, balancing cost, business requirements, employee experience, utilization, and long-term strategic needs.

Leadership & Talent Development

  • Lead and develop a high-performing North American finance organization and strengthen finance business partnering across the business.
  • Build the talent, capabilities, and succession plans required to support future growth.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, integrity, and continuous improvement while partnering effectively across the global organization.

Experience and Professional Qualifications

  • A proven senior financial leader with experience operating in a business of comparable scale, complexity, and organizational maturity. 
    • Experience of operating in a global organization with a strong appreciation for different cultures as well as a publicly traded company and associated reporting requirements
    • Demonstrated success improving profitability, operational performance, cash generation, or other key business value drivers
    • A true financial business partner who will focus on driving the value levers in the business. 
    • Able to demonstrate a genuine blend of both technical finance and commercial finance skills
    • Operationally engaged tracking performance and holding leaders accountable for performance
    • Market research, insights, B2B media, consulting, technology-enabled services, or professional services experience is advantageous.

In accordance with NY/CO/CA/WA law, the estimated base salary range for this role is $310,000 to $340,000. Your final base salary will be determined based on several non-discriminatory factors which may include but are not limited to location, work experience, skills, knowledge, education and/or certifications.
