Your Team

The Stakeholder Engagement team is responsible for managing ASX's relationships with customers, software providers, industry bodies and governance participants across Securities & Payments. The team delivers stakeholder engagement strategies, facilitates industry governance forums, supports market consultation activities, coordinates industry readiness programs and leads stakeholder communications associated with strategic initiatives and operational incidents. The team acts as a trusted partner to both industry stakeholders and internal business units, ensuring stakeholder perspectives are incorporated into decision-making and that market participants receive timely, transparent and effective communications.

Your responsibilities

  • Execute stakeholder engagement activities in accordance with approved stakeholder strategies, priorities and plans.

  • Manage day-to-day relationships with assigned customers, software providers, industry bodies and other stakeholders.

  • Act as a primary point of contact for allocated stakeholders and coordinate responses across ASX teams.

  • Identify, monitor and escalate stakeholder risks, issues, concerns and feedback as appropriate.

  • Coordinate stakeholder participation in governance forums, consultation activities and working groups.

  • Prepare and maintain agendas, papers, presentations, records, action logs and engagement reporting.

  • Deliver stakeholder engagement activities supporting industry readiness, adoption and change initiatives.

  • Draft, coordinate and distribute stakeholder communications, briefing materials and engagement artefacts.

  • Support stakeholder communication and coordination activities during operational incidents and business disruptions.

  • Contribute stakeholder insights, market intelligence and improvement opportunities to support business objectives.

Your experience and qualifications

Must have

  • Tertiary qualification in Commerce, Economics, Finance, Business, Law, Communications or 5+ years in a related discipline.

  • Exposure to stakeholder engagement, customer relationship management or industry affairs functions.

  • Ability to engage and influence senior executives and external stakeholders.

  • Exceptional written, verbal and presentation communication skills.

  • Some commercial judgement, strategic thinking and problem-solving capability.

Nice to have

  • Experience leading industry consultation and governance forums.

  • Experience managing communications during major incidents, crises or operational events.

  • Knowledge of change management, transformation delivery and industry readiness programs.

  • Understanding of CHESS and post-trade market operations.

Skills Required
