As the Vehicle Remarketing Asset Remarketing Business Operations Manager in Vehicle Remarketing Operations, you will oversee vehicle titling functions supporting the Asset Remarketing vehicle sale process. These functions include internal title collection, determination of negotiability, external application for negotiable title, distribution of title for sale or account closure activities, vendor oversight, performance monitoring, and rate control. Timely execution of these processes will facilitate prompt vehicle sale scheduling and minimizing days in inventory.
Job Responsibilities
• Oversee Title support staff assuring adherence to procedures, established service standards, and Bank policy.
• Administer performance management review and discussions with team
• Monitor title process to assure all activities are executed timely. Activities include, internal title requests, stock in of all titles received, application for negotiable titles, follow up on outstanding title requests and applications, daily disbursement of titles, and thorough and accurate documentation of task activity.
• Ensure system data integrity by monitoring daily department support tasks and work lists to assure activities are updated timely.
• Identify and engage in situations delaying title application to assure/determine the best method of resolution is used.
• Monitor process flows to identify opportunities to add efficiency, document recommendations, update procedures, and implement approved solutions.
• Assure the generation and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly operational reporting. Validate performance reporting and prepare monthly scorecard summary.
• Reviewing and authorizing payment of title service invoices and relevant bills received
• Required 5 days per week in the office
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong negotiation, analytical, problem resolution, and decision making skills
• Strong ability to analyze department reporting to identify process gaps and opportunities and offer solutions to existing or potential problems
• Strong ability to effectively utilize business tools including Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
• Strong ability to identify enhancements to existing performance reporting and develop new reporting as needed to measure process efficiency.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years supervisory/leadership experience
• 3+ years experience in the vehicle remarketing industry supporting remarketing related activities
• 5+ years experience dealing with all aspects of title processing on a national basis
