We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to join our growing team! Your Impact as a Charge Nurse – LVN or RNIn this role, you will:
Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing
Demonstrates excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills
Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to organize workflows effectively
Responds efficiently to emergencies and pays attention to detail in all tasks

Skills Required
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing
- Ability to safely administer medications and perform nursing treatments
- Competence in transcribing physician orders and maintaining accurate resident documentation and nursing assessments
- Skill in directing and educating Nurse Aides and implementing nursing policies and care plans
- Strong clinical assessment, technical, and documentation skills
- Effective communication, organization, multitasking, and emergency response abilities
- Reliable attendance and trustworthiness
