We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to join our growing team! This role requires trustworthiness, consistency in attendance, and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment. A professional and cooperative demeanor is essential to collaborate with others and provide exceptional care to residents.
Your Impact as a Charge Nurse – LVN or RNIn this role, you will:
Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing
Demonstrates excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills
Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to organize workflows effectively
Responds efficiently to emergencies and pays attention to detail in all tasks

Skills Required
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing
- Ability to safely and accurately administer medications
- Competence in transcribing physician orders and maintaining timely, accurate resident documentation
- Experience directing and supervising Nurse Aides and coordinating shift staffing
- Strong clinical assessment, technical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to respond efficiently to emergencies and follow infection control and body mechanics procedures
- Consistent attendance, reliability, and professional/cooperative demeanor
