We’re seeking a dedicated and reliable Charge Nurse – LVN or RN to join our growing team! Your Impact as a Charge Nurse – LVN or RNIn this role, you will:
Direct Care Teams: Provide guidance to Nurse Aides to ensure appropriate care for residents.
Administer Medications: Properly and safely administer resident medications as prescribed.
Implement Care Plans: Execute resident care plans in compliance with company policies, federal guidelines, and physician orders.
Perform Treatments: Deliver treatments as required to ensure resident health and comfort.
Transcribe Orders: Accurately and promptly transcribe physician orders.
Document Resident Care: Maintain timely and accurate documentation in resident charts and complete required nursing assessments.
Collaborate During Shift Reports: Participate in shift reports to ensure seamless communication and care continuity.
Educate Support Staff: Implement nursing policies and procedures, educating staff on the care needs of residents.
Maintain Safety Standards: Promote a safe working environment by complying with infection control and body mechanic procedures.
Address Staffing Needs: Respond to staffing shortages by arranging for replacement staff as necessary.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) in good standing
Demonstrates excellent technical, assessment, and documentation skills
Possesses strong communication skills and the ability to organize workflows effectively
Responds efficiently to emergencies and pays attention to detail in all tasks

Skills Required
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license in good standing
- Reliable attendance, trustworthiness, and professional cooperative demeanor
- Ability to lead and provide guidance to Nurse Aides and other support staff
- Medication administration competency and safe medication practices
- Clinical assessment skills and ability to perform treatments as required
- Accurate documentation and charting skills; complete required nursing assessments
- Ability to transcribe physician orders accurately and promptly
- Strong communication, organization, multitasking, and emergency response skills
- Knowledge of infection control practices and proper body mechanics
- Ability to address staffing shortages and arrange replacement staff as necessary
