The PAVA (Public Address Voice Alarm) Sales MANAGER  will be reporting to the PAVA LOB LEADER-INDIA and will be instrumental in building a healthy pipeline and growing our market share of PAVA within the allotted region by following Honeywell Operating Systems (HOS). In addition he/she will work closely with the current fire ESD's,  appoint new PAVA ESD's and work closely with End Clients and Marketing to develop a framework for driving growth initiatives/across his/her region in order to achieve their annual sales plans along with key goals and objectives. It is important to develop and maintain a professional customer relationship and promote the objectives and ethos of the company at all times by providing high quality professional and on time customer service and support.

Responsibilities

Manage strategic PAVA plan to grow within assigned region region in a profitable and sustainable manner using Honeywell Operating Systems (HOS)
• Drive and execute a PAVA territory plan that includes prioritized regional goals together with the fire sales team
• Strategic account management of key accounts and customers
• Meet face to face with strategic partners on regular basis to support annual operation plan, growth and strategic alignment
• Prepare and agree annual sales plans with each of Direct customers in conjunction with account managers and regular review meetings to discuss performance and steps to meet goals
• Educate client base through regular sales and estimation training and co-ordinate technical training where required
• Monitoring prices and actions from competition
• Find and pursue business opportunities across his/her region in collaboration with Regional Fire Sales and Sales Leaders
• Identify and appoint new PAVA ESD's and provide and manage quotes on NEX to drive growth in achieving AOP
• Identify Key opportunities & work with consulting engineers to get Honeywell PAVA specified which result into sales 
• Pull experts as required and bring teams together to increase impact
• Provide timely and comprehensive input into the NEX/opportunity management tools and improve forecast accuracy more than 80%
• Assist PAVA LOB leader in defining and developing growth strategies through his/her region in exploring how Honeywell can grow its businesses within its environment
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities, product / service offerings through new platforms and innovative business models
• Work with Customer Services to follow up on order booking and related issues to ensure material is delivered on time to achieve quarterly forecasts as per AOP
Qualifications & Experience:
• Degree standard engineering qualification, preferably electrical/electronic based 
• At least 5 years of direct sales and business development experience ideally in PAVA/PRO AUDIO INDUSTRY ONLY• Well connected, technically minded and experienced in region through consulting engineers, contractors and end clients
 

Qualifications
  • Highly competent in MS Office applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint & the use of email and internet
    • Spoken and written English language compulsory

Skills Required

  • Degree-level engineering qualification
  • Electrical or electronic engineering background
  • At least 5 years of direct sales and business development experience
  • Direct experience in the PAVA or professional audio industry
  • Established relationships with consulting engineers, contractors, and end clients in the region
  • Technically minded and well connected in the assigned region
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and internet applications
  • Fluent spoken and written English
