The Role

This position is fully remote. All applicants must live and work in the United States.

The Channel Partner Manager will play a critical role in building, managing, and growing our strategic partnerships with technology platforms in the Shopify Plus ecosystem, including Shopify, Klaviyo, and Yotpo. This position requires a deep understanding of the digital commerce ecosystem, a proven track record of developing successful partnerships, and an ability to drive business growth through collaboration. The ideal candidate is a relationship-builder who can work across teams, forge connections, and unlock new opportunities for TAG.

Our fastest growing line of business is our Shopify practice, and you will be the tip of the spear as we invest more to grow our capabilities. As an added bonus, we are the last major Shopify Enterprise agency not owned by private equity, so we don’t have any of that bullshit here.

  • Relationship-Driven: Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on relationship-building across industries.
  • Proven Track Record: Experience in managing and growing partnerships with a leading enterprise ecommerce platform.
  • Strategic Mindset: Ability to think long-term and identify mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Tech-Savvy: Understanding of the eCommerce and digital marketing landscape, particularly within the Shopify Plus ecosystem.
  • Strong Communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Collaborative Leader: Experience working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and delivery teams, both at Shopify and within our agency.
  • Results-Oriented: Proven ability to meet and exceed revenue or partnership goals.

You will:

  • Develop and Execute Partnership Strategies: Identify, negotiate, and manage relationships with Shopify and popular platforms like Klaviyo and Yotpo to enhance business opportunities and drive revenue.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with marketing, sales, and delivery teams to ensure partnerships align with company goals.
  • Build New Relationships: Proactively seek out new opportunities with the sales, account management, and customer success teams at strategic partners.
  • Manage Existing Partnerships: Maintain and grow relationships with current partners, ensuring they are nurtured and optimized.
  • Track Partnership Performance: Use data and metrics to track the success of partnerships and make data-driven decisions.
  • Stay Industry-Connected: Be a thought leader and stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform developments, and new opportunities.
  • Interact with the community: Augment our efforts on LinkedIn to raise the profile of the agency.
