The Channel Marketing Manager is an experienced project gatekeeper for the marketing department, fielding requests and leading projects from assigned bank departments and divisions by managing consistent workflow processes through project management tools and best practices. This position will work with marketing team members in their creation of world-class advertising and marketing materials while ensuring open and timely communication with key clients. This position will ensure successful results by developing on-time, on-brand and on-point marketing materials for internal and external customers.
Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
- Lead end-to-end management of marketing and advertising projects for assigned bank departments.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and task assignments.
- Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce costs, and improve delivery speed.
- Manage large-scale, ongoing marketing initiatives with minimal oversight.
- Ensure all deliverables meet brand standards and project objectives.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to align on project goals and updates.
- Facilitate kick-off meetings and creative briefings to clarify project scope and expectations.
- Lead review meetings and provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
Strategic Support
- Contribute to the development of marketing strategies and campaign planning.
- Support senior leadership in managing master marketing calendars and plans.
- Help define and implement best practices for project management and communication.
Client & Vendor Relations
- Onboard new internal clients and train them on available marketing tools and services.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal departments and external vendors.
- Coordinate follow-ups on estimates, proofs, and production of marketing materials.

Education, Experience, and Other Expectations
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or similar field; or equivalent working experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in communications, marketing, or related field.
- 4 years managing marketing projects preferred
- Experience in retail banking and insurance marketing preferred
Skills and Knowledge
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Microsoft Excel, PPT, Concur, JIRA, and Smartsheet or other project management tools used by the department.
- Computer skills relating to PC and MAC operations and the ability to quickly and accurately learn new software systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good organizational, communication and telephone skills.
- Ability to present a professional image at all times.
- Flexibility in handling multiple tasks.
- Proficient typing skills including grammar, spelling, editing and proofreading.
