Channel Marketing Manager (Tridium AP)

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia 

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Channel Marketing Manager to join our team. As Channel Marketing Manager, this role will be responsible for managing (planning and execution) all aspects of channel marketing activities and initiatives in AP region. This position reports to Tridium AP business leader directly.

This role will be responsible for Product Marketing and Channel Marketing and leads strategic growth initiatives cross the region. This position will be responsible for understanding the growth strategy and direction of the region and acting on that direction from Marketing point view throughout the region. 

This position will closely work with Tridium Global Product Marketing and Channel Marketing and Engineering team etc at Tridium headquarter, to ensure all global initiative deployed into Asia Pacific region. Typically, this role will also collaborate closely with our offering managers to successfully launch new NPI.

This role will collect customers’ needs from AP region and feedback to the functional teams at Tridium headquarter.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Product Marketing activities, conduct VOC, define the product strategy and roadmap, and develop the core positioning for the product for the region. Be the expert of the product and offering of Tridium AP/Global. Be the contact window with Tridium Engineering team to support NPI.
  • Manage and lead the Channel Marketing, provide guidance and support to ensure successful execution of GTM strategies.  
  • Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI. 
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, print, and social media, to effectively promote our products and services. 
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance our marketing efforts and drive business growth. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, and Operations, to ensure effective communication and alignment of marketing initiatives. 
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and acquisition opportunities etc.

 

YOU MUST HAVE 

  • Bachelor's degree or above with strong technical background in field like computer science, software or Automation Control etc. Marketing, MBA or a related field preferred
  • At least 8 years experiences in Building Automation, IOT, Automation Controls in Commercial or Industrial etc.
  • At least 8 years experiences in Sales, Marketing or business development etc., Channel Marketing and Product Marketing preferred.
  • Must have the ability to understand software features and software architectures deeply and be able to explain it in both technical and general terms.
  • Have a good understanding of computer systems and IT etc. Knowledge of emerging trends in cloud computing. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong Leadership, self-managed, good team work, proactive and strong execution.

Skills Required
