Summary
At ESET, our Channel Manager effectively understands and execute business strategy through a diverse group of distribution channels in Japan. In order to do so, the ideal candidate should possess the capability to execute business/sales plans flawlessly while being able to plan actions in a medium and long time frame in ever-changing and complex situations. Our Channel Sales Manager will need to interact both internally and externally in a swift and insightful manner.
Job description
• First line of contact with designated ESET Partner regarding requirements stated in distribution agreement
• Preparation of business plans for the Japanese market and follow up of the execution, in accordance with priorities set by executives
• Implementation of ESET strategy in the Japanese market by conducting QBR with ESET Partner
• Management of all stages of business cases in direct rapport, as well as in close cooperation with distributors and resellers.
• Forecasting and reporting business results to senior/high management of the Company
• Preparation of status reports about specific tasks, projects and other related activities
• Further tasks and working assignments as per senior personnel’s instructions
Implementation of global sales tools and processes for pipeline management, compliance and tracking, liaising with Partners and HQ
Requirements:
- At least 3 years of experience in similar positions including managing of indirect sales through partners, distributors and resellers
- professional background from software or hardware related industries, technical background is a plus
- organized, results oriented with great execution skills and ability to evaluate impact, strong metric/sales orientation
- Analytical skills to identify issues from revenue related data
- Present a result of analysis with Excel and Powerpoint in an effective manner for executives review
- excellent communication skills, great negotiation and relationship management
- ability to listen, analyze, and quickly see trends in complex situations
- resistance to risks, ability to make decision in uncertain situation and with limited data
- Fluent oral and written English (TOEIC Score: 800+) and native Japanese is a necessity
