Job description:

We’re seeking a tactical, ambitious, and adaptable OCM Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for supporting the delivery of organizational change and communications strategies that drive business adoption and employee engagement—particularly in fast-paced, IT-enabled environments. This is an ideal role for someone with 3–5 years of experience who thrives on multitasking, takes ownership of deliverables, and enjoys being at the intersection of people, process, and data.

Things to note:

  • This is a remote contractor position.
  • Some on-site work may be required at client locations or at the Pivot office, depending on client needs. While Pivot offers flexibility, client requirements ultimately guide work arrangements.
  • The role may involve extended periods of computer work, virtual collaboration, and occasional in-person meetings.

Requirements

How you’ll make an impact:

  • Deliver with precision: Support execution of change management and communication activities that drive stakeholder readiness, employee engagement, and user adoption.
  • Support strategy with action: Assist senior team members in developing stakeholder assessments, change impact summaries, and engagement plans—while proactively moving tasks forward.
  • Stay organized and proactive: Manage daily project tasks, help track deadlines, and contribute to keeping the work on schedule and aligned.
  • Assist with deliverables: Help create and format decks, talking points, FAQs, and reports—ensuring content is clear, professional, and aligned to project goals.
  • Work with data confidently: Use Excel to organize and analyze stakeholder or survey data (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs); automate basic reporting for PowerPoint and status decks.
  • Track and measure impact: Help monitor adoption, engagement, and readiness metrics; prepare summary reports and flag key trend.

  • You’re a strong communicator—clear, concise, and able to adjust tone and messaging for different audiences.
  • You’re data- and tech-savvy: skilled in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, formatting), PowerPoint (polished visuals, templates), and fluent in managing SharePoint or Google Drive.
  • You’re a strong multi-tasker, comfortable switching between tasks and projects without losing focus or quality.
  • You’re excited to grow your skills in a fast-moving consulting environment and are eager to contribute to a high-performing team.
