We are seeking an experienced ERP Change Management Specialist to support a large-scale SAP ERP transformation initiative. The consultant will lead current-state business process discovery and assessment across Hire to Retire (H2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), and Plan to Budget (P2B) domains. Responsibilities include facilitating stakeholder interviews, workshops, process walkthroughs, and validation sessions; developing standardized and detailed process maps using BPMN, swimlane diagrams, or equivalent methodologies; documenting process activities, roles, approvals, controls, systems, dependencies, and exceptions; and identifying process inefficiencies, risks, manual workarounds, system challenges, and opportunities for process simplification, standardization, automation, and improvement. The consultant will collaborate with senior leaders, process owners, subject matter experts, IT teams, and other stakeholders to validate documentation, obtain sign-off, and establish a comprehensive current-state process repository to support future ERP design and implementation planning. The role also requires strong change management capabilities, including stakeholder analysis, change impact assessments, readiness assessments, communications, training, adoption, and knowledge transfer. Experience with SAP, SAP SuccessFactors, LeanIX, public-sector environments, and recognized change management methodologies is considered an asset. The consultant will also provide regular status updates, formal documentation, mentoring, and knowledge transfer while working within established governance, documentation, privacy, security, and change-control standards.




Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of progressive Change Management / Organizational Change Management (OCM) experience supporting complex, organization-wide business or technology transformations.
  • Strong experience in current-state business process discovery, assessment, documentation, and process mapping.
  • Hands-on experience developing detailed BPMN, swimlane diagrams, or equivalent process maps.
  • Experience facilitating process discovery workshops, interviews, walkthroughs, and stakeholder validation sessions.
  • Strong knowledge of change management methodologies, including change impact assessments, stakeholder analysis/mapping, readiness assessments, communications, training, adoption, and reinforcement.
  • Experience with ERP or enterprise system transformation involving changes to business processes, roles, responsibilities, and ways of working.
  • Familiarity with Hire to Retire (H2R), Procure to Pay (P2P), and/or Plan to Budget (P2B) business processes.
  • Strong ability to identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, risks, manual workarounds, system constraints, data issues, and process handoff challenges.
  • Experience identifying and documenting process standardization, simplification, automation, and improvement opportunities.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills, including working with senior leaders, process owners, SMEs, managers, employees, and project teams.
  • Ability to translate business process, system, role, data, and policy changes into stakeholder impacts and actionable change activities.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, presentation, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Ability to work within established project governance, change control, records management, privacy, security, and documentation standards.
  • Experience supporting SAP implementation/transformation is preferred; SAP SuccessFactors/H2R experience is a strong asset.
  • Familiarity with LeanIX / Enterprise Architecture / Business Architecture is an asset.
  • Prosci, CCMP, or equivalent change management certification is preferred.
  • Municipal, public-sector, or complex unionized organization experience is an asset.
  • Strong commitment to knowledge transfer, mentoring, coaching, and capability building.
