What you will be doing
1. Coordinates the effective implementation and support of Change Control Management.
2. Evaluates all recommended changes and ensures implementation schedules do not interfere with business operations.
3. Identifies and/or challenges schedules that could create conflicts with business operations.
4. Adheres to the change schedule.
5. Identifies scheduling conflicts based on business priorities.
6. Coordinates daily ITCM activities across the IT organization.
7. Manages ITCM process compliance with audit requirements by tracking and monitoring identified regulatory artifacts.
8. Participates in all change advisory boards (CABs) through the process life cycle.
9. Reviews change requests for completeness, from documentation to post-implementation review.
10. Participates in incident and problem analysis for possible consequences of a change and its implementation. 11. Reviews all implemented changes to ensure objectives have been met
12. Arranges and facilitates appropriate post-implementation review activities for changes, as prescribed by the process policy.
13. Identifies process gaps, and works to implement corrective actions.
14. Produce metrics for Change Control statistics.
15. Provides training on the change management process
What your background should look like
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in computer science or management IT, and related field or equivalent experience are required. Typically has 3-5 years of IT experience with 1-2 years of incident, problem or change workflow automation tool experience a plus
MINIMUM SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS:
1. Working knowledge of IT end-to-end change management, encompassing project management, application development and operational procedures.
2. Ability to accurately record and manages changes in a change management tool.
3. Social and organizational agility to proactively gain knowledge of all aspects of all assigned services, including infrastructure, operations, customer service, software, network, stakeholder and business unit components.
4. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
5. Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail
6. Ability to prioritize work load and consistently meet deadlines
7. Knowledge and understanding of Change Management tools
8. Skilled in producing change data and reporting metrics to stakeholders.
