What you will do
We are currently looking for a Survey Chainperson to help us make a real impact in our Tri-Cities office. In this role, you will work as a member of a survey crew and will assist in performing boundary, topography, ALTA, right-of-way, and construction surveys. You will operate and maintain survey equipment, take field notes, collect data, perform calculations, and assist with construction staking projects. Work is conducted year-round and involves working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. Projects will include subdivisions, educational facilities, and military facilities.

What we are looking for
- High school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 1 or more years of related experience.
- Must be able to run equipment and do basic calculations using previous courses in mathematics and surveying are required to perform the above-mentioned responsibilities
- The ability to think independently and thrive in a team atmosphere
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Valid Washington State driver’s license and the ability to obtain and maintain clearance to work at local military installations
- Land surveying experience
- Manual labor experience
- Experience with survey instrumentation
Actual pay will be based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
- Chainperson II - $25.00 - $33.00 per hour.
- Annual discretionary performance-based bonus.

Skills Required
