Job DescriptionAs our new CFD Engineer, you will deliver advanced simulation services that help clients solve complex fluid dynamics and multi-physics challenges, contributing to more innovative and sustainable design solutions across industries.
As a part of our team, you will play a central role in providing our clients with design support and verification services as well as operational troubleshooting and technical safety assessments.
Typical projects generally span across different stages of design, ranging from early-stage design iterations to design validation and prototyping of new solutions.
.Your key responsibilities will be:
- Solid understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics and numerical modelling
- Practical experience using OpenFOAM and or HELYX
- Familiarity with turbulence modelling approaches (RANS; basic LES awareness)
- Basic understanding of verification and validation practices
- Experience using Rhinoceros 3D (Rhino) for CFD-ready geometry creation
- Ability to clean, simplify, and repair geometry for meshing
- Working knowledge of Python for workflow automation, pre and post-postprocessing
- Confident use of Bash and experience running CFD simulations on Linux/HPC environments
- Strong attention to detail in
- Methodical and organised approach to simulation work
- Ability to follow best-practice CFD workflows and internal guidelines
- Comfortable working on iterative simulation and design cycles
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain simulation results, assumptions, and limitations
- Proactive attitude to learning and technical development
- Good time management and ability to work to project deadlines
M.Sc. within Engineering, or a similar field, with focus on fluid-dynamics and numerical simulation (CFD).
Have 1-3 years of work experience providing engineering service using CFD
