Role overviewThe Central Operations Manager owns day-to-day operational execution across Muvr’s markets, ensuring consistency, reliability, and efficiency at scale. This role acts as the central command for monitoring marketplace performance, resolving issues in real time, and driving operational standards across cities. The Central Ops Manager partners closely with local ops, customer support, product, and analytics.
This role reports to Operations leadership.
Key ResponsibilitiesMarketplace Monitoring & Execution- Monitor real-time marketplace performance across markets (fulfillment, on-time performance, cancellations).
- Act as first responder for operational issues, incidents, and escalations.
- Coordinate rapid resolution across support, drivers, and internal teams.
- Enforce and improve standard operating procedures across markets.
- Ensure consistent execution of policies, pricing rules, and service standards.
- Identify gaps, edge cases, and failure points in operational workflows.
- Track operational KPIs and flag risks or anomalies early.
- Partner with Ops Analytics to understand trends and root causes.
- Recommend operational improvements based on data and frontline insights.
- Work closely with Customer Support to resolve complex cases.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to report bugs, issues, and operational pain points.
- Support launches, pilots, and operational changes across markets.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and reliability.
- Test and help roll out new tools, workflows, or process changes.
- Document learnings and update SOPs accordingly.
- 4–7+ years of experience in operations, central ops, logistics, or marketplace roles.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate under pressure.
- Experience managing real-time operations or service delivery.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- High attention to detail with a strong ownership mentality.
- Experience in on-demand marketplaces, logistics, or mobility.
- Experience working across multiple markets or regions.
- Comfort working with dashboards and operational data.
