Role OverviewThe Central Operations Manager (2026) owns core operational processes that keep Muvr running smoothly across markets, workflows, and cross-functional teams. You will drive execution across service operations, issue resolution, process compliance, escalation management, and operational performance improvement.
This is a high-ownership, execution-heavy role. You will be expected to identify operational breakdowns, improve workflows, strengthen accountability, and build scalable systems that improve service reliability and internal coordination.
Key Responsibilities1) Central Operations Execution and Workflow Ownership- Own day-to-day central operations workflows that support marketplace execution, service quality, and operational responsiveness.
- Monitor operational activity across teams and identify process breakdowns, delays, and service risks.
- Ensure critical workflows are completed accurately, on time, and according to operating standards.
- Build structure and accountability into recurring operational tasks and handoffs.
- Act as a central coordination point across Operations, SupportOps, DriverOps, Revenue, Product, and other internal teams.
- Manage escalations that require cross-functional action, follow-through, and resolution.
- Improve communication across teams so issues are resolved faster and ownership is clear.
- Ensure operational decisions are documented and translated into consistent execution.
- Identify inefficient or fragile workflows and redesign them to improve speed, quality, and consistency.
- Build SOPs, playbooks, checklists, and escalation paths for recurring operational processes.
- Reduce manual work, repeat issues, and execution gaps through stronger systems and process discipline.
- Help standardize how work gets done across markets and service scenarios.
- Track operational performance across service quality, turnaround time, issue resolution, completion rates, and other key workflow health indicators.
- Build and maintain reporting views that help leadership and operators identify trends, bottlenecks, and execution risks.
- Surface operational insights with clear recommendations and next steps.
- Support weekly operating reviews with structured reporting and action tracking.
- Review incidents, exceptions, and recurring failure points to identify root causes.
- Partner with relevant teams to prevent repeat issues through policy, workflow, tooling, or training improvements.
- Strengthen operational quality by improving controls, review points, and handoff discipline.
- Help ensure customer and partner experience is protected through reliable internal operations.
- Train internal teams on workflows, SOPs, escalation standards, and execution expectations.
- Reinforce strong operating habits through documentation, coaching, follow-up, and process enforcement.
- Support adoption of new workflows, tools, and operational changes across the organization.
- Use AI tools thoughtfully to improve productivity, documentation quality, workflow efficiency, and execution speed.
- Apply automation and AI-assisted workflows where appropriate to reduce repetitive work and improve consistency and quality.
- 4+ years of experience in operations, central operations, business operations, logistics operations, or related roles.
- Strong process management and problem-solving skills with the ability to improve workflows in fast-paced environments.
- Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and keep execution moving under pressure.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow-through.
- Strong communication skills and ability to drive clarity, accountability, and action across stakeholders.
- Comfortable using AI tools to improve productivity, quality of work, and day-to-day execution.
- Willingness to learn emerging AI workflows and use AI responsibly to improve performance, decision-making, and operational effectiveness.
- Experience in logistics, mobility, marketplaces, dispatch, support operations, or service-based businesses.
- Familiarity with workflow design, SOP development, escalation management, and operational reporting.
- Experience in high-growth startup environments with evolving processes and high execution demands.
- Strong instincts for balancing speed, quality, customer experience, and operational practicality.
- Familiarity with tools and systems such as Slack, Google Workspace, ChatGPT, ClickUp, Hubstaff, Zendesk, Airtable, Notion, Google Sheets, Looker Studio, and other operations, reporting, or workflow platforms.
- Own a critical operations function that directly impacts service reliability and execution quality.
