Central Europe & Caspian Strategy Leader
The person will be directly responsible for developing the enterprise strategy for Central Europe and Caspian cluster in line with new energy clusters segmentation via mapping market intelligence, customers’ strategies, and “new energy” goals of the countries. He/She will be expected to have customer facing responsibilities and work across functions & respective territories to build a cohesive strategy and value proposition.
The person will be responsible for customers’ expansions in Central Europe and local point for interface with the customers and BH Segments, looking for innovative models to monetize product portfolio solutions, building up and executing on partnerships. The role will also be the key focal point for industry, government, and new energy sector customers in Central Europe countries.
- Work with Segments, CTS and ECS teams to develop BH growth strategy for Caspian and Central Europe districts in new energy area
- To understand countries’ aspiration, customers goals, market intelligence and BH value proposition in new energy. Define and prioritize opportunities, partnerships, and potential business models for the respective geographies
- Conduct deep analysis of transitional cluster’s interdependency within defined geography for key BH growth areas in new energy sectors , define key players/potential partners
- Acquire intimate understanding of customer’s, industry, government and new energy sector strategic needs, goals and objectives, and demonstrate ability to consistently translate it into effective advice toward outcome-based solutions that rely on BH’S solutions
- Develop value proposition for defined customers / partners as part of the developed strategy
- For Central Europe to provide feedback to the Segments teams on customer wants, needs, and BH execution. Help Segments to drive issues resolution and ensure good level of customers’ experience.
- Support Sectors & Solutions team with defining integrated opportunities in the defined geography. Work with Segments to identifying white spaces and support in addressing growth opportunities in these areas.
- Partner with leaders across the organization to develop growth strategies across product offerings. This includes and not limited to organizing and leading discovery sessions with the customers and key stakeholders from the Segments
- Utilize all available management information and commercial excellence tools to fully exploit business opportunities
- To influence and lead horizontal growth via collaboration and being active member of Baker Hughes team
Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor's and/or Master’s Degree in Engineering, Marketing or Business from an accredited university or college
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing business development
- 5+ years of international experience across Europe and Caspian countries
- Language : Russian and English

- 10+ years of experience in industry-related strategy, marketing and consulting (power generation, renewables, oil and gas, new energy, low carbon energy)

- Strong analytical skills with market intelligence capabilities
