The North America Regional Applications Team is seeking a motivated entry level applications engineer at ADI's Wilmington, Massachusetts campus location. The Regional Applications Team is responsible for providing technical support to customers, field applications engineers, and the company's sales team. In this role you will get to work across our broad portfolio of integrated circuits supporting multiple business units and applications including industrial, communications, automotive, instrumentation, and healthcare. This role offers an excellent opportunity to build your technical and customer-facing skills while working with cutting-edge semiconductor technology.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Provide customer technical support and training through email, phone, virtual channels, and onsite visits.
- Assess customer system requirements and recommend appropriate products, signal chains, and reference designs.
- Support hardware and software platforms and evaluation systems
- Review customer system and hardware designs, diagnose complex technical issues, and guide customers through resolution.
- Partner with internal hardware and software platform teams to communicate customer needs and recommend product improvements.
- Develop technical content including applications notes, technical articles, and training material while staying current on ADI products, tools, customer applications, and industry trends.
Qualifications include:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Entry Level : 0 to 2 years experience
- Strong analytical thinking and methodical approach to identifying and resolving technical issues
- Basic understanding of analog circuit design and debugging
- Basic understanding of system-level architecture
- Understanding circuit simulation techniques using tools like LTspice
- Clear and concise communication skills
- Hands-on experience with lab equipment including oscilloscope, multimeter, and others.

The expected wage range for a new hire into this position is $71,989 to $99,006.
Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location, experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
