Join our team as a key technical representative in the APAC region, interfacing between firmware, software, and hardware teams to ensure seamless communication and effective issue resolution with vendors like Qualcomm. Your expertise in Qualcomm cellular chipsets and ecosystems will drive success in vendor relationships and tech integration, contributing to innovative solutions and advancements in RF and antenna technology.
Responsibilities- Serve as the HW FW team representative on the ground, liaising between cross-functional teams (RF, Antenna, Validation) and software teams (BSP, connectivity software).
- Manage issue triage and resolution processes with vendors such as Qualcomm, leveraging your expertise in their cellular chipsets.
- Lead RF bringup and customization efforts, including driver customization and RFC tweaks, using QSPR, QDART, QRCT, QxDM tools.
- Support operations in Contract Manufacturer (CM) factory or lab environments as needed, facilitating smooth production and quality assurance processes.
- Expertise in Qualcomm cellular chipset and ecosystem, demonstrating a strong understanding of ENDC/CA configurations and solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Qualcomm RF bringup in cellular environments, utilizing tools like QxDM, QRCT, and others for device analysis and testing.
- Familiarity with RF and driver customizations within the Qualcomm environment, including practical use of QSPR/QDART tools.
- Solid communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical findings and collaborate across multiple teams and regions.
- Willingness to support in CM factory or lab settings, requiring flexibility and adaptability to varied environments.
- Proficiency in Python, C, or C++ to support software integration and tool customization efforts.
- Experience with RF bringup processes, factory procedures
- Proficiency in scripting and tooling for factory, on-device, or PC applications, enhancing automation and efficiency.
- Knowledge of Qualcomm antenna tuners and exposure to SAR, smart transmit, or coexistence features, adding significant value to the RF development team.
