The Opportunity

The Celebrity and Pop Culture Content Creator is responsible for omnichannel

content creation including pitching, pre-production, studio production and content delivery surrounding each of HSN's celebrity events and pop culture partnerships. The Celebrity and Pop Culture Content Creator is also responsible for creating processes and production strategies for live shows, celebrity premieres, complementary streaming and digital content, and content

packages. Overall, this content should be continuously innovative, modern, and should be measurable in terms of sessions, viewership, and new customers.

The successful candidate will be proficient at generating ideas, comfortable speaking to celebrities and handlers, and passionate about testing the power of content to grow our audience.

Your Impact

  • Spearhead productions from start to finish, including traveling for on-location shoots, on a number of events and shows for HSN's Celebrity and Pop Culture partnerships. This may include creating and communicating a look and feel for the production, booking talent and influencers, and working alongside Merchandising Business Development to determine products.
  • Partner with necessary stakeholders, including programming, planning, merchandising, customer insights, broadcast development and content production to ensure efficient, well communicated projects and productions.
  • Create content with an omnichannel mindset, with each platform having distinctive, impactful custom content.
  • Drive growth with each project through KPIs such as viewership, customer growth, awareness and perception.
  • Prepare for production packages from a strategic (business needs, metrics), production (music, camera, audio) and item level (review product support, video for individual presentations) ensure overall production value is at consistent high standards.
  • Work in studio and/or red-carpet locations as a producer and/or production team member to create distinctive, cinematic linear content for the celebrity product premieres and events.
  • Pitch production ideas, places, and concepts to help establish our celebrities as experts in their product category and give viewers a behind-the-scenes into their lives and work.
  • Work with studio executives and corporate sponsors for red carpet events and pop culture moments.

What You Bring

Undergraduate degree in Television/Media Production, Communications or a

related field is required.

Minimum of 5-10 years of experience in television/media production or related field. A proven track record showcasing strong communication skills,

independent judgment and a working knowledge of a live studio environment.
