As a CATIA Design Engineer you will be responsible for;
- Create detailed 3D models and technical drawings of engine components and tooling using CATIA, ensuring compliance with aerospace industry standards and specifications.
- Design and optimize tools, jigs, and fixtures for the manufacturing and assembly of engine components to enhance production efficiency and quality.
- Collaborate with international employees as well as internal and external stakeholders
- Assessment of non-conformities related to aero engine components
- Work provided on components for engine, especially reservoir/tanks, etc.
- Participate in the validation of the products using such methods as testing and DFMEA
- Define technical solutions to eliminate non-conformities on products (request for drawing change, process optimization, etc.)
Qualifications;
- 4+ years of mechanical design experience is required
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a relevant engineering degree
- Hands-on work experience with CATIA v5 is required
- Design and GD&T experience is a plus
- Excellent communication skills-both verbal and written
Salary Range: $65,000-$85,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
