- Actively manage the end-to-end global strategic sourcing and procurement processes for SOC & Memory category for assigned suppliers
- Provide innovative strategies for optimizing global sourcing effectiveness for new projects and benchmarking on existing projects
- Manage and/or lead preparation and evaluation of RFIs and RFPs to support new business development opportunities
- Ensures supplier commercial and operational processes and principles meet Harman’s requirements in support of best cost, financial performance, and technical capabilities
- Drives & Innovates suppliers’ improvements and performance by identifying and implementing solutions to business problems, independently, cross-functionally and globally as appropriate within assigned categories. Interfaces with all key functions and levels of the businesses as required.
- Develop and execute sub-category strategies for semiconductors technologies supporting the business across all the divisions.
- Manage supply and capacity commitments from supply base.
- Support Supply Chain Management department on the following;
- Get technical and commercial packages for RFQ/RFI on new and current projects to drive RFQ packages with global suppliers
- Generate benchmark analysis for current projects (cost bd comparisons and recommendations
- Generate SAP PO’s and PR’s
- New Supplier Registration and setup (SAP information, Prices, info record setups, Incoterms, etc)
- Generate NDA for new potential suppliers.
- Managing RFQ’s with suppliers to get a quote on time.
