pladis is looking for Category Executive for our pladis Turkey Category Organisation.

pladis was founded in 2016 as a subsidiary of Yıldız Holding, headquartered in Istanbul with the aim of ensuring synergy among the group’s international snack brands and increasing its global competitiveness. Consolidating 300 years of experience in bakery products, chocolate, gum and candy, it is home to beloved, iconic brands such as Ülker, McVitie’s and Godiva. With 25 factories in 11 countries, and a global workforce of 16,000 people in its operations in over 100 countries, pladis offers its consumers the highest quality products and services.

A brief job description of the position and preferred qualifications for the suitable candidates are defined below:

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and following the budgets in the categories for which s/he is responsible according to the sales target
  • Planning consumer and channel activities together with the sales team in order to achieve sales, growth, market share and profitability targets in the categories s/he is responsible for
  • Collecting and reporting current and potential customer satisfaction, expectations and feedbacks, market trends, competitors' activities and product performance indicators
  • Supporting the determination of the shopper dynamics, determining planning and following the activity types
  • Making market and competition analysis, reporting and offering necessary action and solution suggestions in this regard
  • Managing the activity expenditure budget in the categories s/he is responsible for
  • Following channel and category-based product price policies (shelf, activity, channel, etc.)

Essential Experience, Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field
  • 2+ years’ trade marketing/sales/key account/channel management experience working within FMCG Companies
  • Strong command in English (both written and verbal)
  • Proactive (high sense of urgency) and committed to delivering results in a fast paced, demanding work environment
  • Experienced in activity/campaign and product management
  • Holds an understanding of budget analysis, P&L management, ROI analysis
  • Experienced in field, market and competitor analysis
  • Result-oriented professional adopting strategic thinking capabilities
  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills
  • Strong Microsoft applications skills (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • SAP knowledge is an asset
