Now we’re looking for a freelance Casting Producer to help us find the right people to bring our videos to life.

We’re seeking a Casting Producer who knows how to find compelling business leaders, industry experts, founders, and insiders for interview-driven, non-fiction YouTube formats. This role is critical to the success of our videos. The right cast does not just support the story, they are the story.

You will be responsible for identifying credible, articulate, and engaging subjects who can carry a video, offer real insight, and connect with a YouTube audience. You will partner closely with producers and creative strategists to ensure casting aligns with the creative thesis, format, and audience expectations.

This is a freelance role with opportunities for ongoing work across multiple channels and clients.

• Source and cast experts including founders, executives, operators, creators, and industry insiders across business, tech, culture, and adjacent verticals

• Conduct deep research to uncover people with genuine credibility, unique perspectives, and strong on-camera presence

• Own outreach and pre-interviews to assess storytelling ability, clarity of thought, comfort on camera, and point of view

• Partner with producers and creative strategists to align casting choices with the format, narrative, and audience goals

• Manage casting pipelines end to end, including availability tracking, follow-ups, and clear communication with talent

• Build and maintain a strong bench of trusted experts and recurring talent we can return to for future projects

• Flag risks early and help solve for gaps in casting with creative, scrappy solutions

• 3+ years of experience in casting, booking, research, or talent production for non-fiction, documentary, or interview-driven content

• Strong instincts for who will actually work on YouTube, not just who looks impressive on paper

• Comfortable sourcing cold, reaching out directly, and earning trust quickly

• Highly organized, proactive, and clear in written and verbal communication

• Experienced working on digital or YouTube projects with fast timelines and idea-driven formats

• Collaborative and low-ego, excited to work closely with producers, strategists, and editors

• Bonus if you have experience casting business, tech, or expert-led content

Freelance role with compensation structured as a project or weekly rate, depending on experience and scope.
