Cash Management Operations

Castleton Commodities International is an independent global commodities merchant.  CCI is seeking a Cash Management Operations candidate who will be responsible for all aspects of the cash management function and ensuring that the designated cash processing, reconciliation, and reporting are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with CCI practice and policies. 

Responsibilities:

• Cash management operations to include daily cash administration including but not limited to cash application, payment initiation, and bank account reconciliation.
• Monitors and clears cash transactions
• Monitor, report, and assist in resolving unclaimed funds.
• Receives incoming wire transfers and processes outgoing wire transfers.
• Assist with call back verifications.
• Work closely with Corporate Accounting and Treasury to ensure that counterparty payments/receipts, intercompany loans, and other treasury-related activities are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.
• Assists with audit requests and queries received by Cash Management team.
• Assist in the formulation and execution of team initiatives and projects to improve efficiency, controls, or execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
• 1-3 years of prior experience in a Cash Management or Treasury role.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively in a high intensity environment.
• Excellent problem solving and numerical skills; ability to seek information and interpret data from multiple sources in order to resolve problems or implement new processes.
• Ability and inclination to think critically, identify problems and propose solutions.
• Highest level of ownership and accountability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Excellent Excel skills, VBA skills preferred.
• Ability and desire to work in a team-centered environment.
• Prior experience with SAP S4/HANA
