Senior Cash Management Accountant

You will be a part of the Global Business Services  organization that is responsible ensuring quality and timely processing of invoices and reconciliation of accounts as well as processing bank transactions of Hempel entities around the world.

We are looking for skilled Senior Cash Management Accountant to join our amazing team located in Pune India.

Do you have the drive and ambition to help shape a brighter future?  

Senior Accountant 50% of working time:

• Ensuring quality and timely processing of outgoing payments, accurate recognition of incoming payments and processing bank statements.

• Issuing of free text documents not related to core business.

• Reconciliation of sub-ledgers and other accounts including perioding postings.

• Supporting Junior Accountants and Accountants in solving difficult cases

• Approval of payments in bank system  

• Supporting in handling escalations and looking for improvements

• Preparing documentation for audit purpose and Impero control

Coordinator 50% of working time:

• Support Team Leader in managing a team of 5 -20 Accountants to ensure day to day operational team duties are processed in a timely manner, with the highest quality and according to company policy, GBS procedures and accounting rules.

• Supporting the organization with professional accounting as well as other tasks related to the daily finance job, ensuring that service levels meet the requirements.

• Approval of Impero Controls or other recon and control  tools

• Support Team Leader in running varius projects or initiatives

  What are we looking for? 

• University degree in Accounting, Finance or related area

• Professional certifications will be seen as an asset.

• Experience in working on Banks and AR Accountant position – minimum 5 years

• Good command of the English language

• Second European language is seen as an asset

• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)  

• Work in accounting system AX/D365/SAP would be an asset

• Valid document (passport) to set up appropriate access in banking system
