Mission:

The mission of the Cash Controller is to ensure the efficient management and security of cash operations within their scope, including payment authorizations, cash reconciliations, and cash flow management. The role involves optimizing treasury processes, forecasting short-term liquidity needs, and minimizing costs, while ensuring compliance with group policies and local regulations.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience related to treasury activities is a strong asset or broad experience in Finance and Accounting;
• Cash management knowledge and attention to details;
• Accounting skills are nice to have;
• Knowledge of banking  & treasury communication tools and application;
• University studies (Economic studies);
• Very good level of English (C1);
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Communication skills.

The Cash Controller is responsible for:

• Preparing, controlling, and authorizing payment and/or collection operations;
• Performing daily cash reconciliation for the accounts within their scope;
• Managing cash inflows and outflows for bank accounts: defining schedules, overseeing, and controlling execution;
• Preparing short-term cash forecasts for their scope;
• Organizing and optimizing the process of capturing forecast data; managing the network of internal and external contributors;
• Optimizing treasury costs related to activities, in collaboration with the relevant departments and the bank relationship manager;
• Ensuring the security of payments: ensuring that procedures are in place prior to payments to prevent fraud or errors (maintaining signature registers in line with banking powers, opening and closing accounts, selecting and validating payment methods, cash management, securing checkbooks, task segregation, etc.);
• Defining and applying operational standards related to their processes;
• Serving as the main point of contact for any inquiries related to Treasury activities for the assigned entities;
• Conducting internal and external audits focused on treasury processes.
