- Posting accurate receipts and payments to correct customer accounts on a daily basis, including Lockbox checks, Wire transfers, and ACH.
- Reviewing customer remittances, and any necessary customer follow-up for missing remittances or discrepancies.
- Draft Journal Entries for AR account reconciliations & adjustments in ERP
- Identifying any short payments, missing remittances, or unknown credit deductions, and notifying collections leads to reaching out to customers.
- Investigate unidentified checks/wires with Bank contacts.
- Pull weekly reports to assist with Cash Forecasting
- Send monthly A/R aging reports to clients after month close and assist in collections followup
- Support audit requests throughout the year
- Assist collections team with tasks as needed
- Give administrative support with creation of reports as needed
- +1 year of relevant experience (finance/accounting/economics focused)
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance or related fields - Students preferred
- Strong English verbal, listening and written communications skills
- Basic Excel skills
- Experience with accounting software packages - preferred
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Analytical, self-motivated, quick learner able to work independently and in a team
