Title: Senior (Cash) Accountant
We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support the cash and financing accounting for both our operations and development entities. This role reports to the Senior Manager, Accounting and is integral in ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliation
Primary Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly close procedures and general ledger (GL) reconciliations
- Record and reconcile cash activities in the accounting system (NetSuite)
- Assist with the recording of new financing debt
- Support month-end financial reporting and variance analysis
- Assist in annual financial audits and research accounting discrepancies
- Coordinate accounting tasks across departments and locations
- Takes ownership of account reconciliations
- Other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal skills
Experience/Education
- 4+ years of related accounting experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
- CPA candidates, as well as those with experience in Real Estate, and proficiency with NetSuite are all highly encouraged to apply
