Job Description:                                                           

The Casegoods Product Specialist is responsible for creating 3D CAD models based on custom quotes, carefully choosing materials and hardware, and designing products that streamline assembly and machining processes. Key duties include preparing approval drawings, producing bills of materials, developing CNC programs and optimizations, as well as assisting manufacturing teams with assembly and machining questions. The role involves close collaboration with Quoting, BOM, Purchasing, and Engineering departments.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Develop 3D models in IMOS for standard and custom products
  • Produce approval drawings
  • Link IMOS 3D model to ERP and other production planning systems
  • Review bills of materials and manufacturing documents
  • Optimize materials using Cutrite
  • Ensure engineering accuracy and complete documentation
  • Assist production teams with product and manufacturing inquiries

Applicants must have knowledge of cabinet design, engineering, and industrial woodworking machinery, as well as basic assembly skills. A minimum of two years' experience in architectural millwork or high-volume cabinet manufacturing is required. Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential; experience with IMOS/Cad cam is preferred.
