Associate Referral Bonus: $250

 

Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1-2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered if candidates reside within a commuting distance from an office.


 

The Carelon Lead Generation Specialist / Sales Development Representative  is responsible for finding, connecting with, and qualifying high-potential prospects. This person will transform raw inquiries and targeted outbound lists into high-value opportunities for the sales team.


 

How you will make an impact:


 

  • Identifies, engages, and cultivates relationships with potential clients and current customers. Deploys efficient processes and metrics.  
  • Drives initiatives to create and nurture high-quality leads.  
  • Reaches out to prospects via email, phone, and social media to initiate contact and set up discovery meetings.  
  • Performs market research to identify new growth opportunities and target segments for lead generation. 
  • Analyzes lead generation efforts and communicates results.  
  • Produces regular reports on lead generation performance, insights, and recommendations for senior management.  
  • Works with cross-functional internal partners to achieve business objectives and on new solutions, product launches, and unique selling propositions.  
  • Uses core technology stack supporting lead generation, including lead generation products and relevant platforms.  
  • Establishes and optimizes end-to-end lead generation processes to ensure seamless operations and high conversion rates.  
  • Ensures all lead generation activities adhere to relevant regulations and best practices. 
  • Success in this role is measured through a mix of consistent activity, high-quality conversations, and real pipeline impact, including:  Outbound activity (dials + touches) ,Connections , Response time , Meetings set & held ,Pipeline generated / influenced ,Conversion rates , Data hygiene & process adherence.

 

Minimum Requirements:


 

Requires a BA/BS in marketing, business administration, or a related field and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background. 


 

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:


 

  • MA/MS preferred.  
  • Proficiency  in ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.) and CRM systems (Salesforce, etc.) preferred.
  • Prior BDR/SDR or Customer Experience/Service engaging with Enterprise-sized prospects; health plan experience preferred.
  • Experience in resilient and positive mindset preferred.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills preferred.
  • Experience to execute and understanding the "why" behind customer needs and the metrics that drive business growth preferred.

For candidates working in person or virtually in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $99,120 to $170,982.
