What You’ll Do

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in various care settings, including home, community, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. The ideal candidate will be committed to enhancing the quality of life for residents by delivering personalized care with professionalism and empathy. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives through attentive and respectful caregiving.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Monitor and observe patients for changes in condition, behavior, or health status
  • Medication reminders
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
  • Utilize proper techniques for patient transfers, including the use of Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices
  • Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia or Alzheimer's care, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement personalized care plans
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, fostering a positive environment
  • Follow all safety protocols related to patient monitoring, medication administration, and emergency procedures such as CPR or first aid

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care settings preferred
  • Knowledge of patient care techniques including assisting with ADLs, medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and dementia or Alzheimer's care
  • Certifications such as CPR and First Aid are highly desirable
  • Experience working with people with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus
  • Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and safety oversight
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare team members
  • Compassionate attitude with a genuine desire to improve residents’ well-being
  • Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality of patient information
