What to expect on this role

• Drive engagement with card schemes at both operational and technical levels;

• Ensure that key systems and workflows remain compliant, current, and functioning as intended;

• Lead the organization’s efforts in delivering card scheme changes by collaborating with business units, finance, and operations to investigate issues and assess whether existing operational processes are sufficient or require enhancement;

• Work in close partnership with Technical Operations and Delivery teams to guarantee timely and effective rollouts of updates and accompanying release documentation;

• Contribute to the product release process, including maintaining quality standards, drafting product update notes, and addressing billing-related components;

• Take end-to-end ownership of ongoing card scheme and compliance changes, including logic for fee calculations and tracking of interchange fees.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in similar roles within the payments industry, ideally with direct relationship with card schemes

• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to plan and execute processes meticulously;
  Solid understanding of card scheme operations and card payment terminology;

• Analytical and structured thinker with a systems- and process-driven approach; capable of assessing current products and workflows, spotting inefficiencies or gaps, and suggesting actionable improvements;

• Proficient in using data to guide decision-making in partner management, with hands-on experience in data analysis (SQL required)

• Creative and solution-oriented mindset, able to merge business insight, client needs, and modern technology into commercially valuable solutions.
