At Bristow Netherlands, the continuing airworthiness and maintenance of our helicopter fleet are critical to ensuring that lifesaving missions can be conducted safely and effectively at any time.

We are looking for a CAMO & Part-145 Manager who will be responsible for the oversight, management and continuous improvement of our Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation (CAMO) and Part-145 maintenance activities, ensuring full compliance with EASA regulations and the highest standards of safety, quality and operational performance.

About the role

As CAMO & Part-145 Manager, you are responsible for the continuing airworthiness and maintenance of Bristow Netherlands' helicopter fleet, ensuring full compliance with EASA regulations, company procedures, and customer requirements. Acting as the nominated person for both CAMO and Part-145, you oversee all airworthiness and maintenance activities to ensure our aircraft remain safe, compliant, and operationally available for our critical 24/7 Search and Rescue missions.

You lead a team of airworthiness and maintenance professionals, manage external maintenance providers, and act as the primary liaison with the Dutch aviation authority (ILT). In addition, you drive continuous improvement in maintenance programmes, regulatory compliance, safety reporting, reliability monitoring, and technical standards, ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, and operational readiness across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and support the company’s safety policy, safety culture and Just Culture
  • Ensure hazards and safety concerns are identified, reported and managed appropriately
  • Ensure safety risks are assessed, controlled and monitored
  • Ensure that Management of Change is applied to changes
  • Managing Safety Performance Indicators
  • Ensure that contracted and subcontracted activities are controlled and monitored.
  • Ensure timely implementation and closure of audit findings
  • Ensure that personnel competence is maintained.
  • Participate in management system governance meetings as required (e.g. SAG/SRB)

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive and working knowledge of relevant parts of EASA regulations (Part-M, Part-CAMO, Part-145, Part-66 and applicable National regulations), operational requirements and procedures
  • A relevant engineering degree (aeronautical) or an aircraft maintenance technician qualification with additional education acceptable to the competent authority.

Experience

  • At least five years relevant work experience of which at least two years should be from the aeronautical industry in an appropriate position;
  • Helicopter maintenance/CAMO experience
  • Previous management experience
  • Must possess practical experience and expertise in the application of aviation safety standards and safe operating/maintenance practices.

Skills

  • Knowledge of the Leonardo AW189 or a relevant aircraft type gained through a formalised training course.
  • Knowledge of maintenance methods.
  • Knowledge of human factors principles
  • Comprehensive and working knowledge of quality systems
  • Ability to hold EASA Nominated Person CAMO and Part 145 position within 3 to 6 months
  • Strong Organisational Skills,
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written in English, Dutch is preferred
  • Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Be able to deliver to targets and deadlines
  • Be able to work in a pressured environment
  • Preferably a working knowledge of Ramco MRO system
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to plan and prioritise work both individually and team
  • Ability to interface well with leadership, management, and internal and external clients
  • Ability to manage resources effectively
  • Must meet the requirements of Part 145.A.30

Skills Required

  • Ability to meet targets and deadlines and work effectively in a pressured environment
  • Ability to interface effectively with leadership, management, internal clients, and external clients
  • Ability to meet the requirements of Part-145.A.30
  • Dutch language skills
  • Working knowledge of the Ramco MRO system
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
