Calypso Developer (Java and Cloud Expertise)

Overall Responsibilities:

• Work with clients to understand their business requirements and develop software solutions to meet those requirements.
• Design, develop, test, and implement software solutions.
• Work closely with the project team and contribute to the development of software solutions using a variety of technologies.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.
• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure software solutions meet high-quality standards.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology developments and trends and share knowledge with the team.

Software Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with open-source technologies, cloud-based technologies, and database systems.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and tools.

Technical Skills:

Category-wise Technical Skills:

• Programming Languages: Proficiency in Java, SQL, and other relevant languages.
• Calypso: Extensive experience in Calypso software development, including configuration, customization, and integration.
• Open-Source Technologies: Experience with tools such as Git, Jenkins, Docker, etc.
• Cloud-Based Technologies: Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud platforms.
• Database Systems: Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Agile Methodologies: Experience in working within Agile frameworks and cross-functional teams.
• Testing Tools: Knowledge of testing tools such as JUnit, Selenium, etc.

Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in software development and hands-on experience with Calypso and other technologies.
• Experience working with open-source technologies, cloud-based technologies, and database systems.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and tools.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.

Day-to-Day Activity:

• Collaborate with clients and project teams to gather requirements and design software solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy software solutions.
• Continuously monitor and maintain software applications to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to improving team coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
• Document technical specifications and maintain records of software development activities.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to project planning and execution.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with Calypso and other relevant technologies.
• Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and tools.
